Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR): Young Professional's Trip to Armenia

This program affords young Armenian-American professionals between the ages of 23 - 40 the opportunity to travel to Armenia and Karabagh as a group to learn about the country, meet and dialogue with important leaders, acquaint themselves with Armenia’s place in the world—and with her religious, artistic, political and economic achievements. The objective is to match people’s specialty with the same in Armenia so expertise is shared, and also includes meetings, sightseeing, and humanitarian visits. Hamazkayin: Students Cultural Forum

Since its inception in 1995 the forum has provided a friendly and exciting environment for bright young Armenians. The 8th and 9th Forums took place in Armenia. 2004 marks its 10th anniversary with a 12-day trip to Armenia, July 19-July 31. During their experience, students get the chance to learn a great deal about Armenian culture, discover the sites and sounds of the host country, and most importantly plant the seeds for incredible lifelong friendships. Thought provoking lectures, trips to historic and amazing destinations, and nights of dancing and entertainment are only some of the Forum highlights.

  • The Hamazkayin Students Cultural Forum offers the participant:
Extensive exposure to Armenian culture, history, and heritage right in the heart of our homeland
  • A unique occasion to get acquainted with other Armenian students from around the world, including the local youth
  • An opportunity to attend a series of lectures on noteworthy topics by prominent Armenian scholars and intellectuals
  • Guided workshops for discussions and debates about current issues that concern the new generation
  • Visits to outstanding Armenian institutions, museums, churches, and other places of interest
