My trip to my Motherland started with Birthright Armenia. For a long time, I thought about going and how I would accomplish it. In the end, I choose to go as a volunteer, I decided it would be the ideal opportunity to work and to communicate with local Armenians, as well as people from other parts of the world, and seeing a different Armenia. Thankfully, I made it, due to the flexibility of Birthright Armenia, which is at the same time very intensive. I arrived at the office, and from that moment, my other life began: A different environment and friends from all over the world. The most interesting thing is, that you can choose the field and the place where you want to work, there are so many options. I worked for the radio, in a law firm, in a children center, I combined all that and for me it was incredible. There wasn't even time to eat! And the most surprising is the excursions. The excursions were very fun and also so informative. The work, the excursions, the conversations...I can't possibly explain the feeling in words, you got to feel it. The excursions we took to the villages, where to really experience the true Armenian Spirit, get to know the traditions and lifestyle. As a side note, take the four trip to Artsaj.  We went and observed all the places of interest there, lived with host families, which was really great to socialize and know how they felt and what they thought. The most unforgettable event was the Wine Fest. I´ll never forget it. Thank you guys for a wonderful and emotional summer.
