This June and July will mark the first time Birthright Armenia opens its doors to pilot test a summer volunteer program for ASA United members. The Birthright Armenia & ASA United Summer Program is targeting undergraduate students interested in hands-on volunteer opportunities that aim to do community service and rebuilding projects in the Lori region. The goal is to pair the needs on the ground in Vanadzor with the strong desire of these young diasporans to help, share their skill sets, and forge new relationships. We proudly welcome the ASA United into our family of participants!

What do we expect?
Service at Birthright Armenia requires flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work with, organize, and lead others.
Program participants should be well-mannered, hard-working, and have a positive attitude.
We expect all participants to take responsible actions and show kindness to fellow program participants, homestay families, and all of the people we interact with on a daily basis. We are all ambassadors of the countries we represent!
What can you expect?
We will organize and provide all program services from airport pickups at the start of the program, to volunteer placements within community service projects, stage social networking opportunities with local youth groups, and get you out into Armenia’s nature!
Through this program, you will also have a chance to explore different sites in Armenia through guided weekend excursions and get well familiar with the city of Vanadzor and its residents, where you will be living with a gracious host family that will adopt you as their own.
About ASA united
ASA United is a coalition of Armenian student organizations across North America, currently encompassing thousands of undergraduate students in 62 distinct university chapters. Founded in July 2020 amid rising tensions in Artsakh, ASA United was formed to unite student efforts toward the Armenian Cause through three primary pillars: advocacy, professional development and networking, and academic excellence.
