Armenia is witnessing a huge architectural boost at present. One can see new buildings with modern trends combined with tradition pop up in the city of Yerevan every day. We work closely with several architectural studios, where creative and innovative environment and highly proficient team is open to host volunteers/interns with relevant background and skills. In this field we can offer not only hands-on work on specific architectural and interior design projects, but also research work on Armenian architecture not only in Armenia, but also Georgia, Turkey, Iran, etc.
Super fun and learning opportunities are out there for applicants with background in Graphic Design! Volunteers can join professionals to design projects or teach graphic design to kids.

The vibrant energy of Arts is something to explore in Armenia and dive into. There are international film, theatre, animation and music festivals, dozens of museums and galleries, art centers for kids, non-profits, foundations and institutions that promote arts/crafts in the country. Not only performing and visual artists can find something in their fields, but also artsy people can help relevant organizations based on their current volunteer needs. Passionate advocates for human rights can have fantastic volunteer opportunities in these fields. We place volunteers at organizations that deal with basic human rights or specifically with women’s issues or those of LGBTQ+ community. The legal sector is very diverse. We have volunteer placements with private legal companies and NGOs that specialize in the legal sector. The volunteer work varies from legal research to the translation of materials. Volunteers with relevant background and knowledge can also do trainings/workshops for students of law, attend court cases or volunteer as a teaching assistant at a university. Experienced volunteers can also have the opportunity to be placed at governmental institutions, such as the Ministry of Justice and the Ombudsman’s Office.

Pre-med/medical students and graduates can be placed within a hospital setting or a dental clinic to shadow local doctors and get a better understanding of the medical/dental field in Armenia. Combining that experience with more active and hands-on work with local NGOs that target public health related issues is also a possibility. Here BR volunteers can be engaged in first aid trainings in villages, or give health related classes to children in rural communities, or do health related data collection and analysis, if necessary. Public health research is another great opportunity. We also have volunteer sites that work with people with special needs where volunteers can cooperate with the staff and/or work directly with the beneficiaries of those centers.
